Overview
On December 18, 2024, Montfort College and GrapeTree Edu Canada held a significant ceremony in Chiang Mai to sign a cooperation agreement officially integrating the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) into Montfort College’s curriculum. This collaboration will provide Montfort College students with new international educational opportunities and will launch the Montfort Digital Innovation Programme (MD-IP).
Key Highlights of the Partnership:
• Introduction of the OSSD Curriculum: Starting in the 2025 academic year, the MD-IP classrooms will offer the OSSD, providing an international education and enhancing teaching quality.
• Montfort Digital Innovation Programme (MD-IP): This program combines the rigorous academic system of the OSSD with Montfort College’s educational strengths, focusing on developing students’ digital skills, innovative thinking, and global perspectives. Students will engage in interdisciplinary project learning, innovation practices, and international exchange activities, enhancing their capabilities in digital technology, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship.
Additional Components of the Collaboration:
- 1. Joint curriculum development with universities
- 2. Sharing of global educational resources
- 3. Academic exchange activities
- 4. Canadian academic exchange camps
