Whether you aspire to attend a prestigious post-secondary college or university in Canada or abroad, apprentice in a trade, directly enter the workplace, or even start your own business, obtaining an OSSD opens the door to greater success.

OSSD Registration & Requirements & Transitions

By enrolling in the OSSD credit courses provided by TVO ILC through GrapeTree, students will have access to the same learning resources as local high school students in Ontario, Canada, and will be able to complete the foundation year or OSSLT without entering Canada, significantly saving on the cost of studying abroad. Upon completion of OSSD, students will receive the same diploma as local Canadian public high school students, and apply to major institutions through the local Student 101 channel.

Follow these 5 steps to get started and progress toward your goals. Please note that course selection will only occur after your application has been confirmed.

Please note that the information you provide here cannot be changed later in the process, so ensure it is accurate. Please read the "Confirm Your Student Information and Upload Required Documents" section thoroughly before you begin your application process.

A $250 Diploma Enrollment Fee is required to process your application. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal as payment methods. Please note that all fees and payments are non-refundable.

TVO ILC provides discounted rates for members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their dependents, as well as Indigenous applicants residing in Canada. For further information, please refer to the "Additional Documents" section on this page.

After your payment is processed, you will gain access to the TVO ILC Portal to verify your information and upload the necessary personal and educational documents. Please carefully review the following instructions to ensure you have all the required documents prepared for upload. A GrapeTree facilitator will review your academic record (if applicable); and recommend which courses you need to take to earn your high school diploma. Expect an email with further instructions about 5-7 days after you have uploaded and submitted your supporting documents.
After your application is approved, log in to the TVO ILC Portal and select your courses as recommended by your GrapeTree facilitator. You can start your coursework immediately following this!
