The Montfort Digital Innovation Programme (MD-IP), launched in the 2025 academic year, represents a groundbreaking educational collaboration between Montfort College and GrapeTree Edu Canada. Situated in Chiang Mai, this program seamlessly integrates the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with advanced digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurial skills, providing students a world-class academic foundation.

Three Diplomas, One Unique Education Pathway
MD-IP is distinguished by its offer of three diplomas from three different education systems:
- Cambridge IGCSE, AS-Level, and A-Level (UK): Students engage with the globally recognized Cambridge curriculum.
- Thai National Diploma (Thailand): Graduates receive a standard Thai high school diploma, accredited by Thailand’s Ministry of Education.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) (Canada): The Canadian curriculum offers a globally recognized high school diploma, paving the way for further education and opportunities in North America and beyond.
Curriculum Highlights and Student Development
The MD-IP curriculum is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is designed to enhance skills in digital innovation and entrepreneurship. - Interdisciplinary Project Learning:Students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills through hands-on projects across various fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), programming, robotics, blockchain, drone technology, and big data.
- Professional Guidance and Facilities:Under the mentorship of Chiang Mai University professors and training at the FAB LAB Innovation Center, students participate in scientific research and business projects, fostering creativity and critical thinking.
- Certifications and Career Preparation:Graduates receive the International Certification of Digital Literacy (ICDL), establishing a solid foundation for careers in engineering, computer science, and digital innovation.
